The Tain Gala is massive gala hosted by the powerful Tain family. It is perhaps the most important social event in all of Sharn. The families of the Sixty, Sharn's de facto royalty, all have permanent invitations, while unusual and interesting celebrities are invited as entertainment—potentially including adventurers.[2][3]

The Sovereign Host
This is the holy day of Dol Dorn, the Sovereign of Strength and Steel. As it celebrates a god of combat, festivities take the form of prizefights and athletic competitions, especially those that show skill with weaponry. Staged fights are frequent, and can be massive, with full scale staged battles made up of hundreds of warriors.[4][5]
